Walt Jenkins,
the founder of Cyberstreme, has been producing and directing film and TV
projects for more than 30 years. Walt Jenkins
: Background Spent 7 years
in Hollywood, California writing, producing & directing Film & TV
productions. Worked on
100’s of productions as writer, director, editor, cameraman, lighting
director, director of photography and producer. Productions included 35mm
wide screen, 35mm standard frame and 16mm film & video tape productions. Spent 18 years
as head of a State of Florida TV production facility in Gainesville, Fl. producing P.R.. ,
Training, and documentary films. Was hired as
consultant to design, engineer and bring on air a TV station in Orlando ,
Florida and later managed the production Dept. Designed &
engineered the Virticam System in 1985 which was the first virtual set system
design allowing live actors to be composited in computer generated virtual
sets with synchronization of foreground and background objects in all degrees
of movement.. Designed &
engineered one of the first courtroom TV & arraignment hearing two way
video conference systems for the Florida Circuit Courts where prisoners
could video conference from a jail
facility with a judge in a courtroom
several miles away from the jail facility.
The system allowed for complete control and movement of cameras from
the courtroom of both video locations from the courtroom. This system saved
hundreds of thousands of dollars in transport and security requirements and
maintained security for violent &
dangerous offenders. Designed the
first computer systems to time lapse record large construction sites, and
make the image database available online globally 24/7 for construction partners. These systems
included microwave transceivers and custom designed computers which were
designed and built by Walt Jenkins. Designed and
engineered high end custom computer workstations and networks for nonlinear
editing and computer animation for production companies. Designed and
engineered TV production studios & post production facilities for, State
of Florida, University Of Florida, TV stations, Federal Government , private
businesses. Created one of
the first forensic animation businesses in Florida and produced computer
generated animations for many court cases. Consulted in a
technical & engineering capacity as an expert witness in major court
trials and criminal cases including the infamous Gainesville, University of
Florida Student Murders for which Danny Rollings was found guilty, many
accident cases and a major criminal cases for the federal government and law
enforcement agencies. Designed and
engineered camera stabilization systems, movie cranes, dollies and lighting
systems. |
