We can take a photograph of a real actor, & map it onto a virtual human 3D character.

It forms a  duplicate looking 3D copy of the real person, in our computers.

Now we can have the virtual “actor” do stunts, fly, explode, leap tall buildings and morph into creatures , all inside a computer.

But when you see it on screen, you won’t see the difference between the real and virtual characters.
